They all seemed to be gone by this morning. Hard to say if it was related to the business class fares, which appeared to be a mistake (but only available from U.S. cities). Both the business class fares from the U.S., and the economy fares from Canada, both disappeared overnight.

I just got an email from TAP cancelling my flight and stating that the reservation wa issued in error.

is there any recourse against the airline?

    Hi Eli, I can help.

I booked a sweet flight to London for $189. At around 4am all the great prices were gone (I know I did the work).

I then called TAP and they confirmed that it was a mistake fare but they would honour it. I received the payment confirmation and the itinerary in two different emails while I was on the phone with TAP. Next day (today) they sent the same cancellation email.

I called them back and they said it was only a partial cancellation, I said I don't want a refund and that I want the same price even if it's on a different day. They rebooked me with no cost and I also worked in a five day stopover in Lisbon. Be prepared to wait on the phone for a while but it's worth it.

Kris, that’s great news! What number did you call to get through to a live agent? Did they give you any issues honouring the fare? Thank you!

    Hey ELI,

Any luck with getting the booking through?

No. I am getting the run around. Since i booked through Expedia, TAP is telling me I can only go through my "travel agent". I am trying all angles but i am having a tough time getting answers.

Does anyone have anymore insight into this? Can tap legally juts cancel a ticketed reservations? is there any recourse under the EU passenger bill of rights?
