Where Canadians Can Travel (and what they have to go through to get there)

August
For many of us, international travel is off the table right now. Two of the biggest obstacles are the lack of many medical insurance options that cover COVID-19 (except for these five), and the fact that you need to self-isolate for 14 days when you return.
But technically, as of this month, there are places that are welcoming tourists back, including Canadians.

Hello,
Do we know about entry requirements to Japan? Cannot find much on the gov. site other than blanket info for all countries?
Thanks!
Hi Andjelija,
Japan's borders are closed to anyone but the citizens and residents of Japan.
Japan was just getting to the point of considering a travel bubble with China, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and possibly Australia / New Zealand, with a recent negative covid test.
But cases are on the rise again in Japan, which will likely slow down the progress of re-opening.
You can find a detailed list of entry requirements on the IATA website (click on Japan).
