Air Canada and Porter have dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to San Diego, California down to between $314 and $365 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
You can also find nonstop flights to...
Las Vegas -- $264-$306 roundtrip
Phoenix -- $287-$339 roundtrip
Los Angeles - $306-$331 roundtrip
Palm Springs - $323 roundtrip
Seattle -- $343 roundtrip
But San Diego is the best deal. It's been a long time since there were great prices to SAN (last seen in 2020).
Update: Air Canada has now dropped the price of their nonstop flights from Toronto to Palm Springs down to $322 CAD roundtrip for travel in November and December. January through April dates are $372-$385 roundtrip. This is their 'includes carry-on' price.
For Porter flights, start with the Google Flights link below to explore for dates and then go to this discount code page on the Porter website and try the same dates.
You can use the same small discount on Porter's flights to Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. And everywhere else they fly (Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers).
You can also try searching for the same dates on Skyscanner - this will be the cheapest 'without carry-on' price.
