Delta has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Seoul, South Korea down to between $644 and $744 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Detroit or Atlanta.
Update: United Airlines has matched this price, with dates all the way up to July 2022 now available.
South Korea is effectively closed to Canadian tourists, unless you can handle quarantining in a government-designated facility for 14 days.
("This requirement applies to all visitors for tourism or business purposes who don’t have family or long term residence permit in the country.")
53% of South Koreans have had at least one dose, and has accelerated quickly since late July. They've been vaccinating at a rate of about 20% of citizens per month, similar to Canada's pace at our peak.
South Korea wants to reach a 70% first shot vaccination rate by September.
