Air Canada Vacations has dropped the price of their March & April flights from Toronto to Costa Rica (LIR) down to $382 roundtrip including taxes. This is about 40% cheaper than the typical bottom price for a non-stop (direct) flight from Toronto to Costa Rica.
How to find and book...
1. Go to http://vacations.aircanada.com/
(note that this flight will not appear on www.aircanada.com, as it has different flight prices than the Air Canada Vacations side of the company)
2. Click on 'Flights' before searching (important!).
3. Search for a flight from Toronto (YYZ) to Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR)
Liberia airport is on the West side of Costa Rica. This is not to be confused with the Republic of Liberia, the country in Africa (seriously, people do).
4. Use one of the following date combinations:
March 24 - 31
March 25 - Apr 1
March 31 - Apr 7
April 1 - 8
April 5 -12
April 7 - 14
April 8 -15
5. Proceed with booking.

Good time to go?
Yes, March and April are peak months for visiting Costa Rica. It's still cold in Canada, and dry season in Costa Rica. It's rare to see an amazing deal during dry season.
Where to stay?
