"I'm a travel junkie who's hooked on deals from YYZ." - Chris Myden

Toronto to Greece, Croatia, Hungary | $415 to $580 roundtrip including taxes

This is breaking right now. I will be updating this blog post with more details in a few minutes, but here are the quick and dirty details for those that want to get started!

Update @ 3:36 PM EST: Prices seem to be going up on a lot of dates. Reports coming in of only being able to find prices above $700 now. This may have been a mistake fare? Or possibly just a very low number of tickets were offered by Sky Greece. Whatever it was, it did not last very long, although apparently some people were able to book it in time. Hopefully Sky Greece, who starts flying from Toronto very soon, will offer some more fares like this in the near future!

1. Go to Google Flights Explore and look for the ridiculously cheap flights from Toronto to...

Athens, Greece (ATH)

Budapest, Hungary (BUD)

Thessaloniki, Greece (SKG)
Zagreb, Croatia (ZAG)

(prices on Google Flights Explore are in $USD)

Focus on dates between May and October 2015. Yes, summer dates are available!

2. Take the same destination and dates that you found in Google Flights Explorer and enter them into Priceline for booking.

(The prices on Priceline are also in $USD)

The prices are verifying on Priceline, but this may not last very long!

The cheap prices are because of Sky Greece, a carrier who has just launched flights from Toronto (YYZ) to Athens, Greece (ATH). At the moment they are showing up on travel search engines around the world as 'Hahn Air Systems'.

Sadly this moved fast. It's actually been showing on Google Flights for a few days and said you had to book with a travel agent and I was confused. Saw this and realized if you booked through Priceline it worked, and during my Priceline deal the fare jumped, so I was too slow. BRUTAL!

The deal is gone - it lasted about 10 minutes and then all the prices went back up.

Sorry everyone, for how quickly this disappeared!

I know there are a few people who booked fast enough to get a confirmed ticket before the price changed back. Apparently Sky Greece is claiming the prices were loaded in error (which I tend to believe, since they're new to the market).

Just an update that someone in the YYZ Deals Facebook Group has confirmed that Priceline has been in contact with them to say they are going to honor their booking at the 'mistake' price. In case there's anyone else out there in a similar situation!
